As part of the medical component of the project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support", the Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya donated a batch of medicines to meet the needs of the Communal Non-Profit Enterprise "Bilozerka Primary Health Care Center" of the Bilozerka Settlement Council, Kherson District, Kherson Oblast.
Upon request from the Bilozerka Primary Health Care Center, the Committee purchased and sent a batch of medicines to the Kherson region to strengthen the resource capacity of the medical facility in a frontline area. The center serves both the local population and internally displaced persons, particularly those from vulnerable groups. Maintaining a reserve of essential medicines amid complex logistics and a difficult security situation in the region is crucial, as the timeliness and quality of professional primary care for patients directly depend on it.
More than 20 types of medications have already been delivered to the Primary Health Care Center and are being used for their intended purpose.
As a reminder, last month the Committee dispatched specialized aid shipments to meet the needs of four paramedic and obstetric stations (FAPs) in the Mylove rural territorial community in the Kherson region.
The project "Improving the Protection of Children in Emergencies in Ukraine by Providing Safe Shelters, Food and Non-Food Items, and Psychosocial Support" is being implemented by the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya" with the support of "terre des hommes Deutschland e.V." and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.
