A coordination meeting was held by the working group on the preparation of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Synergy of Professions in Community Health Promotion: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Rehabilitation, Medical, Psychological, and Social Services in the Context of Contemporary Public Health Challenges."
The meeting focused on the content of the conference’s practical component, logistical arrangements, and the thematic areas of the workshops. The working group also updated the conference program to reflect the speakers who have already registered to participate.

This year, the key topics for professional discussion will include rehabilitation, particularly in the context of armed conflict, the impact of war on the population’s mental health, dual education in the field of rehabilitation and psychosocial support, the provision of social services for people with disabilities, and more. The workshops will cover rehabilitation, psychological, social, and communication-focused sessions. This year’s speakers include specialists and researchers from Ukraine, Switzerland, and Slovakia.

The international conference, designed to serve as a platform for cross-sectoral exchange of professional knowledge and experience, will take place on September 16–17, 2026. The organizers—the Charitable Organization "Charity Fund "Medical Aid Committee in Zakarpattya", the Parasolka Association (Switzerland), and Uzhhorod National University—have long been pioneers in promoting and facilitating the adoption of effective practices in Ukraine’s social protection, rehabilitation, and provision of comprehensive services for people with disabilities.
The preliminary Conference Program has already been finalized, and the English version is also available. We invite you to review it.
